Col di Luna
History of the Estate:
The Cosmo family, who own and operate the Col di Luna estate today, can trace their roots back to the year 1700, when the family moved to the Vittorio
Veneto hills from Venice. In 1975 they made the decision to re-plant all of their vineyards. A carefully study was made of the land and exposure, and certain vines were specifically planted to various plots. The Cosmo family is committed to the idea that they must continue to expand, to research their wines and wine making techniques, and to properly supply and educate their consumers. Special attention is paid to certain autochthonous vines, such as Bianchetta, Verdiso, and Raboso helping to preserve the traditions of their own land and their own family. The Col di Luna winery continues to experiment with ancient varietals and modern winemaking knowledge in order to produce some of the most interesting and quality wines from Italy.
