Basile History of the Estate:
Basile The Basile winery was founded by two brothers, Giovan Battista and Domenico Basile. The family had always intended to run a small farm where they could produce wines in a sustainable, organic manner while still preserving the local terroir and traditional winemaking practices. The only wine they are currently releasing is a traditional blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot. The Basile family strives for perfection in their wines and their vineyard- in the short time they have been operating they have begun to receive much critical acclaim and many awards and prizes. As they continue to focus on producing a highly-specialized, indigenous blend we are sure their success will only continue to grow.
