Terre di Giurfo History of the Estate:
Terre di Giurfo is situated in ancient wine-producing region of Sicily. The winery's faithfulness to ancient winemaking techniques, as well as their well-researched, cutting edge technologies help push the quality of their wines to the forefront of Sicilian enology. Their 90-acre estate is situated within the D.O.C. territory for Cerasuolo di Vittoria, a traditional blend of Nero D'Avola and Frappato grapes. The winemaker believes the estate's soil to be optimal for wine production with these indigenous varietals. Additionally the vineyards benefit from an exceptional and intense exposure to sunlight. This combination of situation and hard work makes the Terre di Giurfo wines some of the most refined examples of what traditional Sicilian winemaking has to offer.
